FanDuel Price: $9,300
Blake Griffin is coming off of a dud against the tough defense of the San Antonio Spurs but had averaged 49.2 FanDuel points in the four games prior to that. He will look to get back to that level of production tonight, as he and the Los Angeles Clippers draw a much more manageable matchup against the Houston Rockets.
The finally-healthy Clippers are peaking at just the right time as they enter the playoffs, and Vegas sees this game also going well for them, listing them as seven-point favorites over the Rockets. Their 118-point implied team total is the highest on the slate and nearly 10 points above their season scoring average. The 229-point implied team total is also the largest on the slate by a wide margin.
Griffin has seen his FanDuel average rise to 42.8 points in games with an implied team total of at least 110 points this season, so he should benefit from the high-scoring and uptempo nature of tonight's game.
He also should benefit from a matchup against Houston, who has allowed the fourth-most FanDuel points to opposing power forwards this season and really has no one on their roster with the size or athleticism to hope to stop Griffin. He is a terrific option in all formats tonight.
