Of all the great teams, 2008's Big Three in Boston was the best. Having won 66 games, Doc Rivers' crew produced a nERD of 82.8 and rated at the very top defensively, with 98.9 points allowed per 100 possessions.
The offensive production came from everywhere. Garnett, Allen, Paul Pierce and Rajon Rondo all averaged at least 10.6 points per game, but their elite defense is what rewarded Boston with their first title in 23 seasons.
