Each NBA Franchise's Best Regular Season Performance Since 2000
Are the 73-win Warriors the best Golden State has to offer since the turn of the century?

Miami Heat

In 2005, there was no LeBron, Ray Allen or Chris Bosh. Instead, head coach Pat Riley relied on Dwyane Wade and Shaq to do the heavy lifting -- and that they did. The two went for 47.0 points a night and were a big part of Miami's top-five offense.

With a 59-23 record, the Heat totaled a nERD of 79.9. There was no championship at the end of the tunnel (that came the next season), but the Heat did push the Pistons to seven games in the Eastern Conference Finals. Either way, it's impressive that this team was superior to the teams of the Big Three era.
