Each NBA Franchise's Best Regular Season Performance Since 2000
Are the 73-win Warriors the best Golden State has to offer since the turn of the century?

San Antonio Spurs

Of all the great seasons under head coach Gregg Popovich, 2016 -- Tim Duncan's last NBA season -- was the best. The Spurs were outshined by the 73-win Warriors, but they won 67 games and put up a nERD of 82.3 behind Kawhi Leonard and company.

As usual, the Spurs led the league in defensive efficiency and surrendered just 92.9 points per game. Unlike Spurs teams of the past, though, they were simply outplayed by the Thunder in the second round of the playoffs.
