Maybe it was 'heated film sessions' that propelled the Toronto Raptors to critical wins in Games 4 and 5, but it also has been thanks to the play of Norman Powell.
Since being inserted into the starting lineup in Game 4, Powell has averaged 32.3 FanDuel points while playing 34 minutes in both games. He dropped 25 points in Toronto's last game, shooting an efficient 8-of-11 from the field and knocking down all four of his three-point attempts.
Powell likely won't continue to shoot 100% from deep, but Milwaukee has been susceptible there, which makes this seem a bit more sustainable. The Bucks allowed more points to opposing spot-up shooters than any team this season after ranking dead last in the category last season.
They also are easily the worst defensive team on this slate. While San Antonio, Memphis, and Toronto all rank in the top-eight in terms of defensive efficiency, Milwaukee comes in ranked just 19th.
No, Powell probably won't continue to average 30-plus FanDuel points. However, the matchup is good, and he only needs 13 to reach five-times value. He is as close as a must-play as there is on this slate.
