3 Daily Fantasy Basketball Value Plays for the Two-Day 5/8/17 and 5/9/17 Slate
Shelvin Mack has been a terrific value play over the past two games with George Hill out for the Jazz. Mack might be in line for another big performance with Hill questionable on Monday.

Ryan Anderson, PF, Houston Rockets

FanDuel Price: $4,300

News came out Monday morning that Nene Hilario will miss the remainder of the playoffs, which is a big blow to the Rockets' bench.

Nene had been a difference maker -- especially in their first-round matchup -- but his absence should open up more minutes and usage for Ryan Anderson. Even with an expanded role, Anderson is tough to trust in anything outside of large-field tournaments due to the volatile nature of his play.

As he showed in Game 3, he can go cold in an instant and drop a dud (4.2 FanDuel points in 29 minutes). However, his performance in Games 1 and 2 (31.7 and 29.1 FanDuel points) shows how valuable he can be at this price. He only needs 21.5 FanDuel points to reach five-times his salary-implied point total, which should be easily attainable with a potentially expanded role.
