The 11 Worst Individual NBA Playoff Performances in the Last 20 Seasons
The greatest individual outings get the glory, but the worst of the worst deserve some recognition, too. Which players turned in a clunker on the game's biggest stage?

5. Paul Pierce, Boston Celtics (5/6/2008)

Game Score: -7.5

In 2008, the King (LeBron) matched up with the Truth (Paul Pierce) in the NBA's Eastern Conference semis. The series was as expected: a hard-nosed seven-game series, full of defense and big-time performances. In the opening game, though, Pierce's effort was a big-time fail. Despite a 76-72 Boston win, he totaled 4 points (on 2-for-14 shooting), 4 rebounds and 4 assists with 6 turnovers. His teammates bailed him out, though, and the Celtics ultimately won the title that season.
