The Chicago Bulls look like they're going to be an absolute mess this season, and they're in an especially tough spot early with both Zach LaVine and Kris Dunn sidelined. That means Quincy Pondexter, who missed the entirety of the 2016-17 season following knee surgery, and Justin Holiday, who will be suiting up for his sixth NBA team in five seasons, handling a big portion of the team's minutes on the wing.
DeMar DeRozan is a threat to go off in any matchup, but a team that struggles to defend the wing is obviously an especially good spot for him.
He averaged a team-high 39.5 FanDuel points per game last season, led the Toronto Raptors in usage rate (34.2%) by a big margin, and ranked fifth in the NBA with 27.3 points per game.
DeRozan's fantasy efficiency has climbed in each of the past two seasons (reaching a career-best 1.09 FanDuel points per minute last year). Continuing to make strides as a player while also seeing a potential increase in playing time at the point, he should do some serious damage against this decimated Bulls team.
