Yeah, yeah, it's super-early, but let's save everybody the trouble and give Ben Simmons the Rookie of the Year award tomorrow.
The 6'10" Aussie is as good as advertised. In his first four games, the Philadelphia 76ers' point forward is averaging 17.0 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 7.0 assists. He's scored 18 or more points in three of his four games, and -- wait for it, wait for it -- has double-doubled each time he's taken the court. This puts him in some good company.
Ben Simmons becomes the 1st player since Shaquille O'Neal to record a double-double in each of his 1st 4 career games. pic.twitter.com/TG2kF1eYdj

Granted, Anthony Davis, DeMarcus Cousins, Karl-Anthony Towns, and Rudy Gobert have also double-doubled every time they've taken the court, but they've only taken the court three times to Simmons' four, so it's the rook by default.
