DraftKings Salary: $4,000
Many will look to Jameer Nelson ($3,000) as the preferred value guard play, which may leave Ramon Sessions a bit overlooked. Nelson is definitely in play at minimum salary, but his path to 30-plus minutes is a lot cloudier than Sessions' is. After a blowout in the opener, Sessions played 33 minutes and put up 25.75 DraftKings points in a more competitive environment. With Frank Ntilikina out again, Sessions should be looking at 30-plus minutes as long as this game remains competitive.
The nine-point spread is a bit concerning, but it seems like Vegas may be giving the Boston Celtics a bit too much credit considering the way they have played thus far. If the New York Knicks can keep the game close, Sessions should have no problem being productive -- he draws an individual matchup against Kyrie Irving, who ranked 66th among 76 qualified point guards in defensive real plus-minus last season.
His upside is capped with Kristaps Porzingis dominating the usage for New York, but he shouldn't have much trouble reaching the 20 points needed to hit value at his price.
