DraftKings Salary: $5,200
The Atlanta Hawks will again be without Dennis Schroder, which means a 34.1 percent usage rate and roughly 23 shot attempts per game will be up for grabs. As we expected, it was Kent Bazemore, rather than replacement point guard Malcolm Delaney who was the primary beneficiary of Schroder's absence the first time around.
While Delaney saw a 19.2 percent usage rate and posted 19.5 DraftKings points (not bad at minimum price), Bazemore led the team with a 33.9 percent usage rate and 35 DraftKings points. Delaney is tough to justify paying for at his new salary ($4,400), but both Bazemore and Taurean Prince ($5,700) are still strong mid-range values.
In addition to an expanded role, Bazemore should benefit from a terrific matchup against the Chicago Bulls. Chicago ranks 28th in defensive efficiency on the year and won't provide much resistance. At his price, he needs just 26 DraftKings points to hit value. Considering he just put up 35 DraftKings points last time out -- even while shooting 35.3 percent -- that seems like a near-lock.
