DraftKings Salary: $8,500
LaMarcus Aldridge has been spectacular for the Kawhi Leonard-less San Antonio Spurs, averaging 43.9 DraftKings points on a team-leading 28.5% usage rate. He has been a model of consistency, scoring at least 20 points and 37 DraftKings points in all six games this season.
He'll look to keep rolling in tonight's matchup against the Boston Celtics. Boston has been solid defensively this season, and the addition of Aron Baynes has definitely helped their rebounding and interior defense. However, this is a team we have seen struggle against bigs for a couple years now, so let's not completely overreact to a six-game sample size.
Aldridge isn't likely to crush value at this price tag, but he is as sure of a bet for 40 DraftKings points as any player priced under $9,000. With plenty of value on today's slate, you can feel comfortable paying up for a reliable source of points like Aldridge, rather chasing a monster performance from a more volatile option like Nikola Jokic or Kristaps Porzingis.
