Fellow Thunder guy Dakari Johnson is another dude Russ, Melo, and PG-13 should consider giving some touches, because according to his per-36-minute numbers, the former Kentucky Wildcat has the potential to make some noise.
Admittedly, per-36-minute NBA stats can be silly, especially with Johnson's small sample size, but sometimes when doing deep number dives, silliness is acceptable. So let's get silly and see what the former G-Leaguer could theoretically do if given 36 minutes of burn.
Dakari Johnson - 2017-18 | Avg. per 36 | NBA Rank |
---|---|---|
Points | 36.0 | 4 |
Rebounds | 30.0 | 1 |
Assists | 18.0 | 1 |
Blocks | 12.0 | 1 |
Steals | 6.0 | 3 |
This is all super-hypothetical, because here are his totals for the season:
Dakari Johnson | Totals |
---|---|
Points | 6 |
Rebounds | 5 |
Assists | 3 |
Blocks | 2 |
Steals | 1 |
Games | 2 |
Minutes | 6 |
But if the dude can do cool basketball things like this...
