DraftKings Salary: $4,600
With Rudy Gobert expected to miss the next 4-to-6 weeks, Derrick Favors appears set to take on a much larger role for the Utah Jazz. In Utah's first game without Gobert, Favors double-doubled in 36 minutes and finished with 46 DraftKings points. To be fair, though, he put up that monster performance against a small-ball Brooklyn Nets squad that has been destroyed by opposing bigs this season.
However, Favors looked a lot closer to the dude that we saw average 16 points, 8 boards, and 1.5 blocks three seasons ago than we have seen in a long time. He'll look to build on this weekend's outburst against the Minnesota Timberwolves, who rank 27th in defensive efficiency and have allowed the third-highest field goal percentage to opposing centers.
Favors should have no problem finding his shot against Karl-Anthony Towns, who ranked last among 69 qualified centers in defensive real plus-minus last season. Rebounds might not be as easy to come by as they were against the Nets, but Favors should have no problem reaching 23 DraftKings points, or five-times his salary implied value at this price.
