DraftKings Salary: $4,000
Kyle O'Quinn is one of the more frustrating players in daily fantasy, as he always seems to disappoint when he is a chalky play and then go off the next game. Well, that narrative held true this weekend, as a chalky O'Quinn went for just 14.5 DraftKings points on Friday, but followed that performance with 50.75 on Saturday. It is unclear what his role will look like in tonight's matchup, but he could end up being a super strong play, depending on the statuses of Enes Kanter and Kristaps Porzingis.
O'Quinn and Michael Beasley ($3,700) combined for 92.75 DraftKings points on Saturday in relief of Kanter and Porzingis, and if one or both were forced to miss tonight, O'Quinn and Beasley would become intriguing value plays. The matchup is far from ideal against the Portland Trail Blazers, who have been perhaps the strongest team against opposing bigs this season. However, with salary-implied values of 20 and 18.5 DraftKings points, O'Quinn and Beasley would have a tough time not reaching value if they find themselves in the same role they were in on Saturday. Keep an eye on the injury news for the New York Knicks heading into this game and adjust accordingly.
