3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 11/28/17
If Jeff Teague is unable to suit up for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Tyus Jones becomes an intriguing value play. Which other low-cost NBA players are worth targeting for Tuesday's daily fantasy basketball contests?

Kenneth Faried, PF, Denver Nuggets

DraftKings Salary: $3,900

While the first two value plays are fairly safe, this one qualifies as more of a tournament-only play. If you've played daily fantasy over the past few years, you know what it feels like to be burned by Kenneth Faried. His game already carries a lot of variance, and head coach Mike Malone's often erratic handling of Faried's minutes makes him tough to trust.

Faried has appeared to be in good standing with Malone recently, though. He slid into the starting lineup in the most recent Denver Nuggets game and played 31 minutes in relief of Paul Millsap. He was able to limit his fouls and turnovers while being effective on the glass and getting to the line regularly. Logically, it would make sense for Faried to get extended run once again. Mason Plumlee suffered a core strain and played just 12 minutes in that game, which may have boosted Faried's playing time a bit. He is expected back tonight, but there's a real chance that Wilson Chandler misses.

All this is to say that Faried should get extended run, which could result in a big performance against a Utah Jazz squad that is hurting defensively without Rudy Gobert. Since Gobert went down, Utah's defensive efficiency has dropped to 109.9, which would rank dead last over a full season. Their rebounding rate during that time sits at just 47.6%, which would rank 24th. They are clearly not the same defensive team, and Faried could do some damage if he gets the playing time. He is an exciting tournament option at a price tag that requires just 19.5 DraftKings points of him to reach value.
