5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays for 12/14/17
Dirk Nowitzki could be a steal at his low price against the Warriors. Which other players are in similar situations on Thursday's NBA DFS slate?

Kyle Korver, SG, Cleveland Cavaliers

FanDuel Price: $3,700
Projected FanDuel Points: 17.5
Projected FanDuel Value: 4.74

Kyle Korver isn't the most consistent daily fantasy option, nor is he someone who comes with a 40-point ceiling. Through 28 games, he's maxed out at 32 FanDuel points and has just two games of 30 or more. He's been held below 17.5 FanDuel points in 17 contests. In case you're not doing that math, that means that 68% of the time the veteran sharpshooter hasn't even reached 5x value for a player at the minimum price ($3,500).

Korver's inconsistency and low floor is certainly frightening, but sometimes you just gotta risk it to get the biscuit. That's especially the case if you're looking to roster Korver's teammate, LeBron James ($12,600), or a Stephen Curry-less Kevin Durant ($11,900). Korver's low price tag in this spot makes him a nice filler.

Tonight, the Cleveland Cavaliers host the fast-paced Los Angeles Lakers on national television and, as a result, have the highest implied total of the night, at 114.25 points. The only other team above 110 points? The Golden State Warriors. If there's ever a time that Korver is safe to reach value, this is it.
