Whether a quick cloud of smoke, or an actual man on fire, the recent play from one Dirk Werner Nowitzki deserves some spotlight.
Despite being readily available for a dirt cheap salary, Nowitzki's recent fantasy prowess is in full bloom, having scored at least 20 FanDuel points in seven of his last eight, including reaching at least six-times value in four of them.
Over his last three games, Dirk’s hot hand has led to fantasy totals of 33, 38, and 34, placing him not only near the top-30 most productive fantasy plays of the last week, but also one of the most valuable (hat tip to Jordan Bell), as his average salary of just $4,900 over that span makes him a better than seven-times value option.
His salary is up to $5,500 this evening for his game against the Pelicans, which still makes him a value play if you believe in the recent run.
The Mavericks take on the Thunder this Sunday, followed by the Warriors and Bulls next week.
