Much like Napier, Wayne Ellington has also been the beneficiary of a boost in playing time of late. With Dion Waiters and Justise Winslow out, Ellington's been seeing minutes consistently in the low-to-mid 30s. As a matter of fact, he's logged at least 30 minutes in all but one of his last 10 games. In the contest he failed to do so, he still played more than 28 minutes.
Waiters and Winslow are due to miss the team's next two games, so we can safely dial up Ellington's number until then. Not only is he getting the time, but he's also averaging 21.9 FanDuel points per game across his last 10. And his volatility from game-to-game has kept his price low despite a pace-up matchup tonight.
The over/under for Tuesday's meeting between the Miami Heat and Toronto Raptors is set at 207.5 points. It's the third-highest of four games and, based on the 5-point spread, gives Miami the second-lowest implied total at 101.25 points. But we shouldn't be all that discouraged. The Heat average 100 points per game and are 27th in the league in pace at 94.7 possessions per 48 minutes.
As for the Raptors, they allow an average of 104.2 points per game while playing at a pace of 98.3 -- 3.6 possessions quicker than the visiting Heat are accustomed to. This makes a gunner like Ellington very intriguing, especially against the fatigued legs of a team on the second part of a back-to-back set.
