NBA Market Share Report: Rolling With a Marksman in Lauri Markkanen
The Chicago rookie big man is filling it up and has the praise of greatness to back it up.

Dennis Smith Provides a Lift

Although things could be better in Dallas, the Mavs are fortunate to feel a certain kind of way about their rookie point guard, Dennis Smith, who’s been a top-10 fantasy scorer at his position over the last couple weeks.

Smith has averaged 34 FanDuel points per game over his last seven, and has reached at least five-times value in six of them while dropping at least 15 points and dishing out 6 assists in five contests.

Lately, his $5,600 average salary fits into lineups nicely as a second point guard with upside. Even with a little hesitation in certain situations given potential game flows for Dallas, Smith can still eat. He’s gaining confidence, getting more comfortable, and should look to leave a nice impression on the back end of his rookie campaign.

The Mavs take on the Lakers Saturday night, followed by road games in Denver and Portland next week.
