5 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 1/31/18
Bobby Portis could be the Bulls' only healthy power forward tonight. Which other players are in good spots to produce at a low cost on Wednesday's slate?

Jeremy Lamb, SG, Charlotte Hornets

FanDuel Price: $4,200
Projected FanDuel Points: 25.8
Projected FanDuel Value: 6.15

Unlike Barea, we know for a fact that Marvin Williams is out for the Charlotte Hornets after suffering a sprained ankle on Monday night. The obvious guy to go to would be Frank Kaminsky down low, but once you get past who may start, Jeremy Lamb could be the biggest beneficiary of Williams' absence.

The Hornets have only played Lamb alongside Nicolas Batum and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist for 17 minutes this season, but the Hornets could go small with MKG at the four. Williams had played in every game this season with Kidd-Gilchrist sitting out seven, so it's not hard to see why Charlotte hasn't tried out this lineup more. However, the Atlanta Hawks present a good opportunity for them to experiment.

The Hornets stand as only 2.5-point favorites, but they're implied at 106.5 points -- 1.1 above their season average. A big chunk of that should come from the wing, where the Hawks rank 26th against both shooting guards and small forwards. With Lamb averaging 0.97 FanDuel points per minute, it shouldn't take much more than 20 minutes for him to pay off his low price tag.
