3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 2/27/18
The Nuggets and Clippers are facing off in what's expected to be a high-scoring affair, which puts Nikola Jokic in a great spot.

Nikola Jokic, C, Denver Nuggets

DraftKings Salary: $10,500

Today's slate is pretty gross from a game-script perspective, as three games have double-digit spreads and two of the three that don't have an over/under below 215 points. That leaves this matchup between the Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Clippers as the most obvious spot to attack by a wide margin. The over/under in this one is 231.5 points, and Denver has a slate-leading implied team total of 118.0 points.

The first place to look for production from Denver has to be Nikola Jokic, who has scored or assisted on 44.9% of Denver's buckets over the past four games. He's averaged a ridiculous 25.5 points, 13.3 rebounds, and 11.8 assists over that span -- good for a 65.6 DraftKings points per game in that stretch. That is far more than is required of him, even with a spike in price, to hit value (five points per every $1,000 in salary).

It's also important that this game is taking place at the Pepsi Center, where Jokic has averaged five more DraftKings points per game than on the road. Of Jokic's top-15 scoring games this season, 13 have come at home.

The matchup against DeAndre Jordan isn't ideal, but it is not one that Jokic has had much trouble with. The two haven't met yet this season, but Jokic has averaged 46.7 DraftKings points in just 28 minutes per game in his three most recent meetings with Jordan. Considering we're regularly seeing Jokic push for minutes in the mid-30's, he should have no problem exceeding those numbers. He is an exciting play in any format and is arguably the best point-per-dollar stud on the slate.
