DraftKings Salary: $4,500
Ben McLemore burned a lot of folks on Monday after a surprise scratch, but all indications are that he will suit up tonight. He wasn't listed on the Memphis Grizzlies' injury report, which did include four other Memphis point guards. With the likes of Tyreke Evans, Andrew Harrison, Mario Chalmers all out, McLemore should take on a huge role, as he did in the two previous games, when he averaged 33.8 DraftKings points in 34 minutes for the short-handed Grizz.
Given McLemore's pedestrian 0.69 DraftKings points per minute on the year, it might not be fair to expect another 30-point performance from him. However, he has averaged 0.86 DraftKings points per minute with both Evans and Harrison off the floor. That type of production is exciting for a dude that should see well over 30 minutes and needs just 22.5 DraftKings points to reach value.
McLemore also draws a dream matchup against a Chicago Bulls team that has given up the third-most DraftKings points per game to opposing shooting guards. Assuming we don't see him randomly sit again, McLemore should have no problem exceeding value at this price tag.
