3 NBA DraftKings Value Plays to Target on 3/8/18
Dragan Bender finds himself in an interesting spot against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Which other low-cost NBA players are worth targeting for Thursday's DFS contests?

Nemanja Bjelica, SF/PF, Minnesota Timberwolves

DraftKings Salary: $5,200

Nemanja Bjelica was remarkably inefficient in his last game, putting up just 20.5 DraftKings points in 45 minutes against the Utah Jazz. While the end result was frustrating, Bjelica's consistent playing time makes him a fine bounce-back candidate. More often than not, he has matched his big playing time with solid production, averaging 26.4 DraftKings points in 34.5 minutes in eight games as a starter.

That type of production is appealing for a player in this price range as we scrape for value today. The matchup isn't ideal against a stout Boston Celtics defense, but there's something to be said for a secure 30-plus minutes in a game that should remain competitive (just a 2.5-point spread). There is a lot of variance built into a five-game slate that has three games with decent blowout risk, so a high-floor player like Bjelica is appealing.

Our projections have him playing 34.2 minutes and putting up 26.2 DraftKings points, which is plenty at this price tag. Feel confident targeting him as a safe salary-saving play tonight.
