DraftKings Salary: $8,500
Dwight Howard has seen his minutes and production on the rise again recently, averaging 32.1 minutes and 45.5 DraftKings points in his past four games. With Cody Zeller doubtful tonight, Howard will likely push for 30-plus minutes once again, which is plenty in a matchup against the Atlanta Hawks.
Dwight has spoken openly about wanting to put it on his former team, and Atlanta also has been quoted for not being the biggest fans of Howard. He has had no trouble against Atlanta in three previous meetings this season, averaging 45.2 DraftKings points versus the Hawks. Revenge narrative aside, that type of production shouldn't come as much of a surprise, considering the Hawks have given up the fourth-most DraftKings points per game to opposing centers.
They have the league's fourth-worst rebounding rate and have had their shots blocked the fourth-most frequently, as well. Howard has sent away at least three shots in four straight games and could host another block party tonight. He is a high-upside play in this matchup and becomes cash-game viable if Zeller ends up sitting out.
