Joel Embiid is more of a tournament option tonight, as the most appealing studs on this slate are the guys you have to pay way up for. But Embiid's upside is hard to ignore.
He's coming off back-to-back 50-fantasy-point games with at least 30 minutes in each, giving him 30-plus minutes in five of his eight games in March. It's not surprising that playing minutes north of 30 has led to big numbers from The Process, as he ranks sixth in the NBA with 1.44 FanDuel points per minute (minimum 100 minutes).
Tonight's matchup against Brooklyn also gives his ceiling a big boost. The Nets rank only 29th in rebound rate since the All-Star break (and 22nd on the season), which they have combined with a 28th-ranked defensive rating and top-12 pace. The Philadelphia 76ers' 113.0-point implied total is the day's second-highest, and even though there's a chance that a blowout leads to reduced minutes, the upside Embiid offers is well worth the risk.
