3 NBA DraftKings Studs to Target on 3/22/18
Joel Embiid didn't see big minutes last night, so he should be in line for a nice workload in a dope matchup with the Magic.

Jrue Holiday, PG/SG, New Orleans Pelicans

DraftKings Salary: $7,800

You'll hear plenty about the New Orleans Pelicans playing their third game in three nights tonight, and while fatigue will certainly be a factor, this is just a regular back-to-back set for Jrue Holiday, who sat out Tuesday's game with an illness. Holiday has actually played more minutes on the back end of back-to-backs this season, averaging 37 minutes on zero rest.

Hopefully the combination of the fatigue narrative, the large spread in this game, and two consecutive duds from Holiday will keep people off of him. If that is the case, we may be able to target Holiday at home against the Los Angeles Lakers with a depressed price tag and lower ownership percentage. That is a recipe for success in tournaments.

Holiday comes in at a $1,200 discount compared to his FanDuel price, and he is $500 cheaper on DraftKings than he was just five days ago. Even with last night's dud, Holiday is averaging 46.8 DraftKings points in games in which his minutes weren't affected by blowouts over the past five weeks. Considering his price tag requires just 39 DraftKings points of him (5 points per every $1,000 in salary), that type of production is way more than you need from him tonight.

It is worth exercising some caution with Holiday in cash games tonight, as he looked like the illness may have still been affecting him last night. However, on a six-game slate full of blowout risk, it probably makes sense to focus more on tournament play, where Holiday is a terrific target.
