Price: $8,400
The Houston Rockets have ruled out James Harden (rest) tonight, giving the rest of the team a big boost in fantasy value.
Chris Paul has played eight games without Harden this season, averaging 47.8 FanDuel points in 32.9 minutes per game, compared to 39.8 in 31.8 minutes per game when Harden plays. That 47.8 is the average you'd expect from someone price way above Paul, and he's an absolute steal at $8,400.
That jump in value holds up over a bigger sample too, with his usage rate jumping from 19.6% to 31.6%, assist rate from 26.7% to 56.1% and FanDuel points per minute from 1.00 to 1.63 when we look at all of his minutes with Harden on and off the floor this year.
The icing on the cake here is a terrific matchup against Chicago. Since the All-Star break, the Bulls have played at the league's 11th-fastest pace while boasting the second-worst defensive rating. They have also allowed top-10 fantasy numbers to opposing point guards this year, and they have little chance of slowing Paul down.
