Giannis Antetokounmpo returned Sunday from a one-game absence and saw his usual workload, playing 38.0 minutes. That gives him at least 38 minutes in each of his last four healthy games and at least 37 in 8 of his last 10. He has a 30.1% usage rate since the break, and his 49.8 FanDuel points per game in that time are good for fifth in the NBA.
The gap in recent production does justify the price gulf of more than $1,000 in salary between Giannis and the top tier of studs tonight, but thanks to a much better matchup than either of the two elite-priced players have, Antetokounmpo makes for the more appealing play.
The Los Angeles Clippers have allowed top-three fantasy numbers to opponents at both the shooting guard and small forward spots this season, while they have combined a 24th-ranked defensive rating and 4th-ranked pace since the break.
