With Kyrie Irving continuing to recover from a knee procedure, feel free to roll with Terry Rozier. His nearly 37 FanDuel points per game over the last two weeks puts him behind only Damian Lillard and Kemba Walker as the top fantasy producers at the point guard position during that span, and he’s available for a much lower price.
Although Rozier and his 38 percent shooting from the field doesn’t make for the hottest of shooters, there’s counting-stats value by way of his consistent minutes and nearly 16 shots per game (over the last two weeks), which results in around 17 points a night.
Perhaps the most pleasant surprise to Rozier’s production is his effectiveness on the glass, with better than six boards a night over his last eight games, as well as his six assists-plus-steals over the same span.
With Rozier firmly in the driver’s seat, he’s a clear value until or unless his salary pops over the $8,000 area. Turning close to 40 FanDuel points on an average salary of around $7,400 might be too difficult to pass up when available.
Rozier and the Celtics face the Raptors tomorrow night, before taking on the Milwaukee Bucks, Raptors (again), and Bulls next week.
