What was looking like a lost season for the NBA's top pick in the 2017 draft has turned into a positive note down the stretch. Fultz has been able to return to action and put up respectable numbers over the last nine games. He is averaging just 16.6 minutes a game but has produced at a high level as Ben Simmons' backup, collecting 16.5 FanDuel points per game and nearly 1.0 per minute. The guard is also coming off a game where he played over 20 minutes for just the third time this season. That should leave him in good shape to see extended run in a plus-matchup on Tuesday night.
Simmons is listed as questionable to play with an illness on Tuesday, leaving Fultz and T.J. McConnell to likely chop up the point guard minutes against the Hawks, who are not only one of the worst teams in the NBA, but they allow the sixth-most FanDuel points to opposing point guards this season. Thanks to their non-existent defense (108.1 defensive rating), the Sixers own a massive implied total (114.25) in what Vegas expects to be the highest-scoring game of the night.
