The NBA regular season is officially over, which means we finally get a reprieve from watching the Memphis Grizzlies' third-string squad and can look ahead to the playoffs.
Victor Oladipo, the presumed frontrunner to win Most Improved Player, led his Indiana Pacers to the 5 seed in the East, which means they will face off with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round. Oladipo isn't the only player who took a huge step forward this season, though.
Relying in part on our nERD metric -- which measures the total contribution of a player throughout the course of the season, based on efficiency -- we're going to examine 10 players who took big leaps this season.
Like Oladipo, the majority of these players' personal improvements fueled their teams to new heights, as 7 of the 10 players find themselves on playoff rosters.
