When to pick Gordon Hayward is an interesting conundrum this year. He's on a new team (technically) and coming back from a major foot injury that cost him all but five minutes of last season. He finished 33rd overall in nine-category leagues in his last healthy campaign (2016-17), and his current ADP of 41.3 suggests that people think he has a shot at getting back in that range again. Time will tell.
Sam Hauss repped the numberFire projections well here, taking Myles Turner at 45, as he's been the poster boy of our annual breakouts column two years running. Sam got Turner a little ahead of his 63.0 ADP, but still at a place that could be considered a value pick based on our 31st-ranked projection for the 22-year-old big man.
A couple other notable picks in this round that our projections like to bust their respective ADPs this year are Nikola Vucevic (ADP of 53.0, 32nd in our rankings) and Mike Conley (46.0 ADP, 26th in our rankings).
My pick: A 33-year-old Marc Gasol is no longer the sexy pick he once was, but he's still finished in the top-45 in nine-category leagues nine years running, so I'm more than happy to land that kind of consistency at pick 47. Our projections like him at 34th this year too, which certainly doesn't hurt.
