DraftKings Price: $4,500
While it hasn't yet been confirmed, there is a solid chance that Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers decides to start Boban Marjanovic for the second game in a row when they take on the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday night.
Though a start would be ideal, Boban has shown that he doesn't need a ton of minutes in order to be a fantasy monster. He's averaging just over 1.5 DraftKings points per minute. That type of output is elite. For comparison, Anthony Davis and James Harden are both averaging around 1.6 DraftKings points per minute.
Boban is never (well, let's not say never!) going to get 35 minutes of run per game, but he doesn't have to with his fantasy efficiency and a salary of just $4,500. Marcin Gortat has proven to be uninspiring; the Clippers look like a much more dangerous team with Boban and Montrezl Harrell controlling the paint, and it looks like Rivers is starting to realize that.
We have Boban projected for 20.6 DraftKings points tonight, but that assumes just 18 minutes of run. Extrapolating his projected points per minute to the 23 minutes he's seen in each of the past two games gives him 26.3 DraftKings points, or just over 5.8 points per $1,000.
