At a price of $6,000, Brooklyn Nets guard D'Angelo Russell is basically in salary purgatory between values and high-end plays. His matchup tonight is too god to just let him linger there forever, however, so let's take a look at him, shall we?

Russell's season has started as nearly a mirror-image of his 2017-18 season. His average points, blocks, steals, and assists are all within 0.1 of the averages he put up in those respective categories last year. He is, however, shooting better from deep and from the line, where his shooting percentages have increased by 5.3% and 4.9%, respectively.

Tonight's game against the Phoenix Suns should be fantasy-friendly, and Russell has a chance to put up big numbers. The Suns are giving up the sixth-most DraftKings points per game to opposing point guards this season.

He's scored at least 36 DraftKings points in each of his last three meetings against the Suns and at least 46 in each of his past two against them. We project him for 35.4 tonight, which translates to just under 5.9 points per $1,000, the fourth-best value among point guards on the slate.
