3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 11/13/18
Malik Monk headlines a pair of cheap Hornets players as they take on the Cavaliers. Who joins him as Tuesday's best value options?

Omari Spellman, PF, Atlanta Hawks

FanDuel Price: $4,400
Projected FanDuel Points: 22.5
Projected FanDuel Value: 5.11

You might be questioning playing a young, inexperienced power forward against Draymond Green and the champion Golden State Warriors -- and, at face value, you'd be right to. But there are a few factors, even outside of his low price, that make Omari Spellman worth rostering on Tuesday's short slate.

For starters, the Hawks could get absolutely blown out on the road at Oracle, where they are 12.5-point underdogs to the Dubs. That would favor the rookie getting minutes over guys like DeAndre Bembry, Vince Carter and Dewayne Dedmon. But even if this one's closer than the experts think, Spellman has been starting the last five games and averaging 24.0 minutes per in those starts.

Spellman's first two games (19.3 and 8.3 FanDuel points) weren't very fruitful for fantasy purposes, but since then he's put up 48.0, 28.0 and 15.1 FanDuel points, and altogether, he's averaging 0.99 FanDuel points per minute since getting the starting power forward job.

A matchup against Draymond isn't as bad as it seems either, as the Warriors rank 25th against power forwards, surrendering 51.02 FanDuel points per 48 minutes. Spellman might even see center minutes in a potential small-ball happy game. Every single one of these points favor Spellman hitting value, which our models expect him to do as the fourth-best point-per-dollar play at his position.
