Evan Turner has really flourished in his role off the Portland Trail Blazers' bench this season. Over 25.6 minutes a game, he's averaging 23.79 FanDuel points with 9.4 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists. But over the last four games, the veteran swingman has been particularly effective.
In only one of the last four games Turner has fallen short of 24.7 FanDuel points (9.0 against the Boston Celtics). He's averaging 28.9 minutes and 0.84 FanDuel points per minute with just a single game in double-digit scoring. Outside of the Boston game, his other three games exceeded five-times value.
This is a particularly juicy game script for a guy like Turner. With a 222.5 over/under and a mere 1.5-point spread in Portland's favor, this has all the ingredients of a close, high-scoring game with the potential for overtime. And as we know, overtime means more possessions, and more possessions lead to more fantasy points. Turner is a prime tournament play at his current cost.
