DraftKings Price: $9,200
Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond may not get nearly as much media love as many of the other stars in the league, but he's trying his best with each board grabbed to change that.
Heading into tonight's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Drummond is averaging 18.6 points and 16.4 rebounds. Only 12 other players in the history of the league have averaged at least 18 points and 16 boards in a season. If Drummond were to end the season with these averages, he'd be the first player in 40 years (Moses Malone) to put together such a season.
Drummond has put up at least 49 DraftKings points in four of his past five games and is averaging a robust 5.2 DraftKings points per $1,000 given his $9,200 salary tonight. That's not to say tonight's game will be a cakewalk; Steven Adams and the Thunder are giving up the fewest DraftKings points to opposing centers this season, so take that into account before deciding to throw him into anything but tournament lineups.
Our projections, however, don't think Adams and company will be able to hold Drummond back. We project him for 47.8 DraftKings points, making him the second-highest projected fantasy center of the evening.
