Fred VanVleet has started each of the last two games for Toronto, and with Kawhi Leonard still questionable, he could be in for another start tonight.
VanVleet has played 27.6 and 29.4 minutes in the last two games, and with at least 27 minutes off the bench in his two games before that, it looks like that workload is much closer to his floor than ceiling. Both of the last two games were 20-plus-point blowouts, and we could see him play minutes into the 30s in a close one.
He turned in 31.2 and 25.6 FanDuel points in those two starts, both of which would represent solid value on today's salary, and with the potential for an increase in playing time, it would be no surprise to see him out-produce those marks today.
While he's listed as a point guard on FanDuel, VanVleet is really more of a two-guard with Kyle Lowry on the floor, and that's a position that the Portland Trail Blazers allow to score the league's seventh-most FanDuel points per minute.
