It may have been a slow start to his rookie season, but Kevin Knox has been in the holiday spirit for the month of December, scoring at least five-times value in half of his 12 games this month, including four games of at least six-times value.
After averaging just seven points and three boards in 13 games last month, Knox has nearly doubled his scoring, rebounding, and assist numbers for the month of December and we’ve now seen eight consecutive games of at least 15 points scored, the first rookie Knickerbocker to achieve such a feat since Patrick Ewing in 1985. Not too shabby.
With a salary hovering around the low $6,000 range on most nights, Knox is a decent flyer option with good shooting volume and the long frame to add some rebounds to his production.
The Knicks have the Jazz and Nuggets up next on the schedule.
