DraftKings Price: $3,000
Chicago Bulls rookie forward Chandler Hutchison has started three games this season. His performance in those games--all of which came back in October--was mediocre, to say the least. He averaged just 10.4 DraftKings points in those contests, but he didn't see a ton of run, and those games were some of the first he had played as a pro.
He's had a couple of months to settle in since those starts, so hopefully he'll be ready to go when he likely gets the start tonight against the Indiana Pacers. The Bulls traded away starter Justin Holiday to the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday, leaving Hutch as the likely candidate to start at small forward from here on out.
Even at the $3,000 minimum on DraftKings, Hutchison is not worth using in any cash games. He's just too risky, and we don't know how he'll transition or what type of playing time he'll receive. He's a perfect fit as a tournament punt, however, as the big boost in minutes and the extra confidence he'd get by being told he's a starter could reap dividends, at least in the short term.
We have him projected for 19.4 DraftKings points, which would equate to a value of nearly 6.5 DraftKings points per $1,000, our highest projected value on tonight's slate.
