Getting his first chance of the season to start on Tuesday, Jeremy Lin did not waste it. The Atlanta Hawks’ guard racked up 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 9 assists for 34.3 FanDuel points. He played a season-high 34.5 minutes, finishing with nearly 1.0 FanDuel point per minute played. That explosion should not have come as a surprise as over the last few weeks Lin has been posting solid fantasy numbers even in limited play.
Over his last 11 games, Lin has collected at least 20 FanDuel points nine times while never exceeding 22 minutes played in any one game. Since December 18, he is averaging 11.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 4.6 assists for 22.8 FanDuel points in just 21.1 minutes per game. So, even if he returns to a reserve role on Wednesday, you can trust Lin will provide a solid base of DFS production, especially against his former team.
Wednesday’s matchup carries the second-highest over/under of the 10-game slate, while the Brooklyn Nets have not been able to slow down opposing point guards. They have surrendered 0.91 FanDuel points per minute to the position, a below average rate in the NBA.
