NBA Market Share Report: Banking on Bradley Beal and the Volume
As the new lead dog in Washington, Bradley Beal has the volume to support his price tag.

Chief of Staff in Washington

The outlook in Washington is...well, something. But in the midst of what’s destined to be another season of nothing special, a few opportunities have either presented themselves or have shown the potential to do so soon. One of these positives is Bradley Beal.

With John Wall out for the season, Beal has stepped in as the team’s alpha and his scoring volume is fitting of the role. His 360 FanDuel points over his last eight games ranks him eighth among fantasy scorers over the past couple weeks. He’s reached at least five-times value in four of his last seven games.

While his production is rooted in shooting (more than 22 shots a game over his last eight) and scoring (more than 27 points per game over the same span), Beal is also contributing with nearly five dimes, five rebounds, and more than two steals per game.

His salary tipped the $10,000 mark on Wednesday against Philly (yeesh), but it’s a price tag that would seem to teeter around that area rather than hang above the five-figure mark consistently.

Beal and the Wizards host the Bucks, Raptors, and Knicks over the course of the next week.
