Over his last eight games, Joel Embiid has as many games with at least 75 FanDuel points as games with fewer than 50 (one each). He's topped 60 fantasy points three times in that stretch, averaging 57.5 per game.

That strong average comes despite the fact that he's missed two games in that time, and despite three of those eight contests being blowouts, games that were decided by at least 17 points. He didn't top 34 minutes in any of those three games while he topped 34 in four of the other five, averaging 35.8 per game in the close ones.

The Philadelphia 76ers are 6.0-point favorites tonight, so while they should find plenty of success, there's also not a huge risk that they blow out the Minnesota Timberwolves, meaning Embiid stands to see a full complement of minutes.

With Embiid's recent production and his season-long average of 1.55 FanDuel points per minute (fourth in the NBA), his big minutes should be very valuable in fantasy, especially with the Sixers boasting the second-highest implied total on the slate.
