DraftKings Price: $4,300
Eric Gordon is potentially coming back tonight, which would not bode well for Gerald Green's fantasy potential; the Houston Rockets guard averages 19.0 DraftKings points per game this year when Gordon is out compared to just 13.4 when he plays.
Fortunately for the veteran, there will be minutes opened up because of another roster move. Danuel House Jr. had been on a two-way contract with the Rockets, but it expired and the two teams were unable to reach a new deal, sending House packing for the G-league.
Green will almost certainly soak up many of House's minutes, which means he should continue to see 25-30 minutes of run on a nightly basis. There should be ample opportunity for him to continue to jack up outside shots tonight, especially in a game against the Brooklyn Nets that is expected to be relatively fast-paced (223.5 total).
Green is dependent on threes for the bulk of his fantasy value, but he showed some versatility in his last game with six boards, two assists, a block, and steal. In two games against the Nets with the Rockets, he's averaged a respectable 0.96 DraftKings points per minute. At only 25 minutes, that type of output would equate to a value of nearly 5.6 DraftKings points per $1,000.
