The injuries to Ricky Rubio, Dante Exum, and Raul Neto have opened a wealth of playing time for Royce O'Neale with the Utah Jazz. The second-year guard has moved into the starting shooting guard spot with Donovan Mitchell sliding down to the point the last three games.
During those three starts, O'Neale has logged plenty of action, averaging 34.3 minutes per game. He has been productive too, posting an average line of 8.3 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 1.7 steals, and 0.7 blocks per game. As expected, O'Neale has produced well in fantasy logging two 30-plus FanDuel point nights while averaging 25.8 FanDuel points per night.
Putting up solid numbers in a starting role is not unfamiliar for O'Neale. In four starts last season he averaged 28.5 FanDuel points per game. Getting another start on Wednesday against a soft defensive oppoennt, the Los Angeles Clippers will go a long way in helping O'Neale reach optimal value. The Clips have not done much to stop opposing two-guards this season as they surrender 0.86 FanDuel points per minute against the position, the fifth-highest rate on Wednesday's slate.
