Consistency is hard to find at any level, let alone with rookies. Brooklyn Nets forward Rodions Kurucs has been a prime example of that, often thrilling with big performances and then intermittently crashing back down to earth with a dud.
Kurucs has seen a relatively high amount of run recently; he's been on the court for at least 28 minutes in four of his past five games, which has resulted in four performances of at least 22.8 FanDuel points. Of course, the game right in the middle of that he scored just four points, grabbed three boards, and turned the ball over three times, which resulted in a FanDuel output of just 4.6 points. Ouch.
Tonight's game against the Orlando Magic should give him a chance to mimic his recent successes and forget about any poor performances. The game has a solid total of 217.0 points, and the Magic are favored by just one point over the sixth-place (playoff-bound if the season ended today!) Nets.
We have him projected to score 24.4 FanDuel points tonight. One thing that could camp his style is if Rondae Hollis-Jefferson's minutes load increases more quickly than expected. He played just seven minutes in his first game back from injury on Wednesday, however, so that shouldn't be much of an issue.
