FanDuel Price: $3,500
Already dealing with injuries to LeBron James and Rajon Rondo, the Los Angeles Lakers will now also be without Lonzo Ball (ankle) for at least a month.
Ball went down with 8:39 left in the third quarter on Saturday, and with that one going to overtime, that gave us a 25-minute, 39-second sample without him. Lance Stephenson played 20 minutes and 13 seconds of that, including all 5 minutes in overtime.
He's not going to step right in and take all of Ball's minutes, as Josh Hart will surely see an increased role, as well, but Stephenson should certainly receive enough playing time to be fantasy-relevant, especially when he's priced at the minimum salary.
Including Saturday's game, Stephenson has now topped 25 minutes four times this season. He has scored no fewer than 23.4 FanDuel points in any of those four, which is already 6.7 points per $1,000 of today's salary. His average FanDuel output across the four games is 31.3 fantasy points (8.9-times value at the minimum), despite the fact that he has yet to play even 30 minutes in a game this year. If you want to expand the sample, the nine games in which he has played at least 22 minutes have all seen Lance score at least 20.7 FanDuel points (5.9-times value) while averaging 27.6 FanDuel points.
You can't ask for much better than that, and Stephenson is the slate's premier value option in all formats today.
