Part of that top tier I mentioned, Russell Westbrook has topped 50 FanDuel points in 11 of his last 15 games, while also eclipsing 60 in four of those games.
The only time he failed to hit 40 in those 15 games was a blowout against the New York Knicks in which he didn't even play 30 minutes. He sits fifth in the NBA with an average of 1.52 FanDuel points per minute, and as long as he's getting run he's going to produce at a high level. And with his Thunder six-point favorites tonight against the Portland Trail Blazers, the minutes should absolutely be there for Brodie.
Portland is usually a rough matchup, allowing bottom-five fantasy numbers to point guards, but there are two factors that make that worth looking past today.
First, there's nobody else on the slate priced above even $11,000, and even in a tough matchup you're not going to find anyone with a better floor than Westbrook. Second, Portland is on the second half of a road-road back-to-back, and their starters played big minutes last night (36.5 for Damian Lillard, 38.1 for C.J. McCollum and 31.9 for Jusuf Nurkic) against the Utah Jazz. That makes this matchup a bit softer than it would usually be.
