3 NBA FanDuel Value Plays to Target on 1/22/19
With Lou Williams and Danilo Gallinari likely to sit, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a nice DFS value play. Which other cheap options are worth a look?

Dragan Bender, PF, Phoenix Suns

FanDuel Price: $3,800
Projected FanDuel Points: 11.6
Projected FanDuel Value: 3.06

Dragan Bender has not seen much action this season, playing in just 14 of the Phoenix Suns’ first 47 games for an average of 7.7 minutes per appearance. With Deandre Ayton and Richaun Holmes hurting, though, the third-year forward earned his first start of the year on Sunday and played surprisingly well despite the inaction all season.

Bender logged 29.4 minutes against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Sunday collecting 12 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 block for 29.0 FanDuel points. Tuesday night, the big man is likely to see another dose of substantial playing time as Ayton is considered doubtful to suit up in a rematch with the T-Wolves. That leaves at least backup level minutes -- mid-teens to low-20's -- available for Bender. With Holmes a question mark to play as well, the 21-year-old Bender may return to the starting lineup and flirt with 30 mins.

With a cost of just $3,800 and limited value options on the small four-game slate, it is worth rolling the dice with Bender on Tuesday, even if Holmes can find his way onto the court.
